High performance and energy efficieny in one solution

PLACE OF INSTALLATION: Italy
PROCESS: Induction welding lines

PRODUCT SUPPLIED: CS-PA 140 + DC-D 250
At a major company in Lombardy operating in the production of components for refrigeration and air conditioning, we installed a customized system for cooling the induction welding lines and maintaining the temperature of the pickling tanks.
The system consists of two air-cooled chillers, each with a capacity of 150 kW, connected to a 2,500-liter storage tank and an inverter-controlled pumping unit with two pumps in a run/stand-by configuration. A 250 kW dry cooler was also integrated, complete with a recirculation pump and a three-way valve, allowing free-cooling to be activated when environmental conditions permit, thus optimizing the overall energy efficiency of the system.
The supply also includes two water temperature control units, each with a capacity of 25 kW, specifically designed for controlling the temperature of deionized water in the welding lines.
The scope of supply includes the installation of all components, the laying of hydraulic piping, and the commissioning of the entire system, with the aim of ensuring continuous operation of the production lines.
The client chose to rely on our expertise and our ability to manage the entire process, from the analysis phase through to the complete implementation of the system. The supply was developed based on a study of the thermal requirements, with the goal of designing a high-performance, energy-efficient solution tailored to the specific operating conditions. After selecting the components, several site visits were carried out to optimize the piping layout and complete the electrical connections.
Once the equipment was ready, we coordinated the delivery, unloading, and on-site positioning, followed by the connection and commissioning operations for the entire system.
