Cooling where and how you need it

We have recently completed the installation at an important processing company in Mexico of a cooling system composed of two chillers of 750 kW each, combined with two pumping groups with 3 independent temperature zones to control the temperature of the calenders of two extruders of PET foil. Each group provides a total water flow rate of 140 m3/h.

The customer’s need to increase the cooling capacity to cope with an increased production requirement was met by detecting the data of the existing system and sizing the cooling requirement necessary to satisfy the new expansion with an energy efficient technical solution tailored to measure.
