BLOWN FILM AND GEOMEMBRANE EXTRUSION

The film extrusion process involves melting the plastic material and subsequently transforming it into continuous, thin, and uniform films. This is achieved through an extrusion die which, depending on its configuration, can produce either mono-layer or multi-layer films. In the case of geomembranes, the process is similar but focused on the production of thicker sheets, which are used for waterproofing applications in sectors such as construction, landfills, agriculture, and hydraulic engineering.

BENEFITS OF AN EFFICIENT COOLING SYSTEM

Constant thickness control, even on large surfaces.

Dimensional stability and reduced deformation over time.

Higher surface quality, free from defects and irregularities.

Increased production capacity while maintaining quality.

Scrap reduction through a more efficient process.

Longer lifespan and performance of the finished product.
