DIE CASTING | HT-Cooling

DIE CASTING

Die casting is an industrial process used for the production of high-precision metal components, typically from lightweight alloys such as aluminum, zinc, or magnesium. The metal is melted and injected at high pressure into a steel mold that defines the final shape of the part. Once the mold is filled, the metal rapidly solidifies due to contact with the cooled mold walls. After cooling and solidification, the mold opens and the part is ejected. The cycle repeats with speed and precision, making the process ideal for mass production.

BENEFITS OF AN EFFICIENT COOLING SYSTEM

Uniform mold cooling, resulting in reduced deformation and internal stresses in produced parts.

Improved surface finish and detail definition.

Optimized cycle times, increasing production.

Reduced formation of porosity and defects related to irregular solidification.

Possibility to automate and stabilize production for high volumes.
